For more than 15 years, I've had the privilege of supporting dealership teams through growth, change, setbacks, and success. I've worked in nearly every area of the dealership—from parts and service to sales and executive leadership—giving me a deep appreciation for the challenges leaders face every day.
Over that time, I helped grow a startup dealership into a multi-location automotive group with more than 500 employees and $500 million in annual revenue. Along the way, I worked with exceptional teams to improve operations, develop future leaders, navigate acquisitions, implement new technologies, and build organizations focused on long-term success.
But somewhere along the way, I realized something.
The most rewarding part of my job was never the sales numbers or the financial statements.
It was watching people grow.
Helping a new manager become a confident leader. Seeing someone earn a promotion they never thought possible. Building teams that trusted one another enough to accomplish more together than they could individually.
That's why I created From the GM Chair.
This isn't another consulting company built on theories or recycled corporate training. Everything I learned comes from real experience leading dealerships, solving difficult problems, and working alongside the people responsible for delivering results every day.

Jared is the founder of From the GM Chair and serves as President and Executive Manager of Pine Belt Motors in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He also serves as a Commissioner on the Mississippi Motor Vehicle Commission and on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Automobile Dealers Association.
Throughout his career, Jared has focused on developing leaders, strengthening organizations, and helping dealership teams achieve sustainable success. His practical approach combines executive leadership experience with a passion for continuous learning, organizational development, and the responsible application of artificial intelligence in business.
